Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The Best item upgrade method to upgrade your gear in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This allows you to upgrade your gear without having rely on expensive trades or drops. This article will teach you how to upp your gear effectively.

Upgrades to equipment provide a bonus on the item's stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your armour and weapons stronger. You can find them by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma vendors or finding them in the form of item-spheres. You can also get them from equipment containing the components, or by utilizing high-tier salvage kits such as Black Lion Salvage Kit and Ascended Salvage Tool. Upgrade components are not destroyed when they are removed from an item.

The primary function of upgrade components is to enable an item to be upgraded, however, they also serve other functions. They can be used to increase the quality of an upgradeable item or they can be used to increase the experience gained when upgrading an existing weapon or piece of equipment. They can be made for additional bonuses. For instance, a created glyph can increase the chances of upgrading its target, whereas an upgrade boost will boost the defense or attack quality of a weapon or armor.

By selecting an upgrade template from the GUI will allow you to connect it to an item. This will display an upgrade component list that the Best item upgrader can be upgraded to. Sets

Rerolling

A player is able to roll any item they have acquired during the game, provided they have enough tokens. If an item is rerolled, it will be replaced by an equivalent level 1 version from another set. The new item upgraded will have the same bonuses of the original one however, its stats will be different as well.

In addition to rerolling items players can also alter the identification of any equipment by interacting with an upgrader NPC. This will change the identity from an armor to a weapon or vice versa, while retaining its base stats and the attributes it requires. The change will be permanent and affect all characters that own the gear.

The player can also upgrade the item level for any equipped equipment. This can be done by interacting with an upgrader NPC, and then obtaining upgrade items components. The cost of upgrading will depend on the upgrade track, the item type, and the number of crests. For weapons, each step up will add 5percent to the damage.

The amount of damage and defense that the item is able to receive when leveled up can be observed below the upgrade cost and decrease percentages in the upgrade template window. All armor and weapons, except practice equipment, gain these stats upon leveling up. The market determines the value of these stats. A weapon or armor that has perfect rolls can command more than an unupp'd version. This is also true for other armor pieces such as circlets or Tiaras.
