A robot vacuum will keep the floors clean enough to cut down on the frequency with which you have to manually vacuum. Find one that has good navigation, can clean stairs and corners and has a huge dust bin that needs emptying only once in a while.

1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO and its sibling the i3 EVO, are identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying features. The i3+ is a good option for those looking for a an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but are willing to manually empty the dustbin of the robot when it is full.

Both robots are good at removing surface dirt on carpets and hard floors and can move around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart map of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. However unlike the i7+ and other top rated robots we test the i3+ does not have a feature for avoiding obstacles which means it can get stuck on things like socks or power cords, and it may have trouble navigating across surface transitions like from hardwood to rug.

iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it might encounter. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's external dustbin. The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in iRobot's flagship line and has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. the most important feature of all -- it has a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the main sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba I7+ is able to make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and it can remote control vacuum cleaner your robot through the app or by voice.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin which eliminates a major cause of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.

We were also impressed by the i7+’s compatibility with amazon robot vacuum Alexa or top rated robot Vacuum Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, Top Rated Robot Vacuum and even vacuum a specific area. 4. iRobot Roomba 694
