The best robot vacuum mop combo Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, Auto Vacuum as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that must be removed frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can need. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful auto Vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to control it even when you're away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. Although these features are useful however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's slightly more expensive than some homeowners need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum that mops and vacuums and return it to its base station. The central control panel is the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
