The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it has received praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to construct. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to use. There's a good amount of room in the basket too, and I love the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys safe!

The only downside is that the handlebar is low, which could be an issue for taller parents. However, it's encased with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfy and wipes down easily, making it still a breeze to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for active parents who are eager to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field trails. The front small 3 wheel stroller can be locked and can be swiveled for added flexibility. The stroller also features 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe during every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary while you take a rest. The seat can be repositioned to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad's heights.

If you're planning short jogs or a long hike, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise smooth, safe ride. It's their newest and most expensive addition to the bargain lightweight stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible, meaning you can use it from the time of birth.

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, like the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that make it stand out from its competition. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super stylish and there is the option of adding a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

The stroller seat is used from birth to 22kg. It converts easily into a 2-in-1 reversible position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extended sun canopy with concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded in half, the Pace measures 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. Two buttons on either side are easy utilize and press to lock it in place.

The fabric for the seat can be machine washed and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points, so you can attach footmuffs and parasols and also changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it's not waterproof. It's a single stroller, however, you can also attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child some extra legroom. It took about 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.
