Midi beds are usually smaller than high sleepers and feature a smaller ladder or staircase. They are therefore perfect for small double mid sleeper rooms. They take only a single UK mattress and add a range of useful pieces underneath. Our midi cabin beds come in a variety of colours so you can pick the one that will best suit your bedroom for your child. Some go even further and include various bespoke storage units. This includes a desk that moves between two on wheels, four drawers for storage and two cupboards with doors included. A ladder that can be rotated, a desk on wheels that slide into and out, and three drawer cabinets and chest are all included. Some midi loft bunk beds with storage come with a desk built-in (as as shown above) however, other models, like our Luna Midi-Bunk, have a ladder on the right side so that the table can be put on the left. Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for extra security. Some models include a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. These can either be open or fitted with doors (please look at the product's details for complete details).

Many midi cabins come with desks that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This gives children a bespoke space for all their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take up valuable floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.

A few models have taken it one step further by adding cabinets that are flush mounted or is part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal to store toys and books.
