Review: Wintergirls is an 18 years old Teenage Literature anorexic girl named Lia dealing with anorexia nervosa. She wants to be thin, so thin she disappears and her body is breaking down and dying because than me. The book begins with the death of Lia's best friend (also suffering from an eating disorder) who dies within a motel room all alone. Lia not only deals along with her anorexia, but with a broken family and cutting complications .. This was definitely another amazingly heart-wrenching book written by Anderson concerning a painful topic that many women are rummaging every night.
