If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that doubles into car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push and it is solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's weight is less than a kilogram, and is so lightweight that it is able to be lifted from the box using just one hand.

The hood, for example snaps onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It is also machine washable at 30 degrees which helps prevent the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram right from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can choose the mode they prefer for their journey. The wagon can be used by one or two children from 6 months to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket that can accommodate everything you require on the go.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that turn from the front to the back, offering ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, which means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopies.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. But, it's lacking some critical features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features for a double stroller for example, a larger basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is suitable from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.

It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the massive shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. This compact pushchair can handle every day bumps and doors easily.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward direction, or they can pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate during our walk on the stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed to be a bit bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds down small single stroller enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite so it feels well-made and sturdy. It maneuvers expertly across different kinds of terrain, and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a large number of parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, like the ability of the seat to be turned between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with an integrated suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. It was easy to push and our test driver was able manoeuvre the vehicle through narrow streets.

The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face each other or can turn around and face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling fights over who should sit with dad and mom. It comes with a huge gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also has an automated frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
