World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your items is a crucial part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enhancements.

They also offer bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.

The upgrade button is available on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge of upgrade.

Weapon

If a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and meets certain requirements. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded with a different one however the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an best Item upgrade.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times, based on weapon level.

Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.

Generally, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this helps maximise DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that are extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Item Upgrades let players improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as quest rewards.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases an item of armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. Most armor types are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by a small amount. However, some upgrade components can give significant increases to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.

In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, a few upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial like decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Based on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require several tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67-77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors come with very substantial boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for certain types of builds. There are other methods to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.

Potion

By putting a potion in a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.

The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose via /give, and that alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions now have a distinct brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag used to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is fixed to the mast of a boat.

This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. At the moment, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor the chance to have an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of producing water and grass. At its current level this trinket can make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass, but doesn't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to solve hazard rooms.

While it looks like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mystical item upgrader kit seems to affect your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and grants mind vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket does not stack with the Higher Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reorge a Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one that it had when you made it.

You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
