Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great method to earn gear, weapons and more. But they're also hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to bring pistols into an operation. Some players use this to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to close a gap. It's important to note that in order to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo can also trigger an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as it is slotted.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled item slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons, but it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently shaped like the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other jackpot Winners slots for gear.

The smuggle slot can be used to store a variety of items - from concussion devices and explosives used in weapons to subdued concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations throughout the map. They can be picked up at anytime. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players discover different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This lets players prepare the best task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly get full early in the game, which will result in the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or a larger space has been obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenging missions. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed, it can take some time to get the most inventory play slots that are available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear newest slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot. You can take them out later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you have to pass through a frisk later in the game or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise be suspect. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC includes new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. To begin these missions, just talk to the agency receptionist and purchase armor and snacks. Then, walk to the mission marker and identify a mob at the time of arrival.
